Show drives with either df or lsblk
Unmount the drive
sudo umount /dev/<filesystem>Format the drive
sudo mkfs.vfat -F 32 -n 'our_pendrive' /dev/<filesystem>Verify – 0 files indicates successful formatting
sudo fsck /dev/<filesystem>
